Before I even tell you about how quaint and cozy our cabin was, I have to give the office staff a huge compliment. Not only are they professional they treated my husband and I like family. You don’t find that very often anymore. Cynthia, Jamie and Jerry were very understanding of our recent events in our family and knew that we needed this overnight trip to just relax and enjoy ourselves. They even included a bottle of champagne to help celebrate my husbands birthday. The cabin we got was one of their smaller ones, but no less cozy. We still had a full kitchen and wood burning fireplace. They even threw in a bundle of wood for our evening. The king size bed is comfortable and they stocked the kitchen and bathroom very well. There’s even a nice front porch or back deck to sit outside and relax. You are within a short drive to grocery stores and only about 4 miles from Arrowhead Village. The only thing you need to add to your grocery list would be paper towels and maybe some freezer bags for any left overs. If you don’t want to cook, there’s plenty of restaurants in the Village to chose from. The only minor thing was the small shower. If you are a tall person you might want to look into a different cabin than the Eagles nest. If you want a peaceful evening or weekend away this would be a very nice place to stay. I know we’re already planning our next visit up the mountain.
