Memory Contest

End March 1st

Write a story on your best Pine Rose Memory under 500 words to be entered into our Pine Rose Memories Contest. We would like you to include a photo too if you have one.

15 and over win

Rules for contest:

Must enter before March 1st. Send entry as a word doc and pictures as a jpeg. By sending us your story and picture you give us the rights to use it in our facebook and advertising. We will be asking facebook readers to vote as well as professional writers. We reserve the right not to publish any material not deemed appropriate. No foul language permitted. We will announce winners on April 1st.

Pine Rose Treasure Hunt

Starting again April 1st (unless we have alot of snow)

. Treasure map

We have hidden treasure boxes around our 6 acres with stamps and stamp pads in them. Each of our guests under 12 who would like to try will be given a special book to collect the stamps in and a treasure map with clues. When they fill their books with all the stamps they will receive a prize. (Due to snow we have discontinued the treasure hunt until spring)

Here is a picture of the mother raccoon watching over one of her 3 babies. Since all the snow we haven't seen "Gregory, Jay, TeePee" (our baby raccoons) but we are sure they are just staying inside their oak tree all nice and warm.

Mid April?	Daffodil Days	There are 58,000 daffodils planted in our area. They Bloom usually mid April depending on how long the snow lasts.

It's free to enter! When you stay with us now until April 1st 2010, you can enter our Snowman Contest. All you do is take a picture of your snowman and E-mail us a picture with your snowman's name, your name and phone number. E-mail entries to cabins@pinerose.com. We will put your picture on line to be voted on. The one with the most votes wins. ( sorry only one vote per E-mail address) Winners will be announced April 2nd.

*Pine Rose bucks can be used in our gift store or towards a cabin stay.

March 13th Bald Eagle Watch

Volunteers are needed to help the Forest Service count bald eagles this winter in the San Bernardino Mountains! Eagle Counts for this winter have been scheduled for the following Saturday Morning March 13.
Volunteers need not have experience, just bring binoculars, a watch & dress warmly! We have binoculars available for Pine Rose guests, but you must reserve them ahead of time.

17th Annual Pine Rose Big Egg Hunt !!!

The BIG Egg Hunt is a Pine Rose tradition and is open to all of our guests 12 years old and under. This is a memory you family is sure to remember for years to come. What could be more fun than finding eggs with candy in them hidden in the forest. We even make it more fun by hiding money in some of the eggs. Ask the front office for more details,

All of guests will that stay with us from March 22nd to April 3rd will receive a FREE Duck Derby Ticket. You may win $500 cash. plus a lot of other prizes. Last year the Schmids one of Pine Rose's guests last year won a ducky basket!

Daffodils Days This Spring!!!

With all the snow we have had this year so far, we are looking for a great daffodil season. The more water the better . There are over 58,000 daffodils planted in Twin Peaks and around our property. They usually bloom the first part of April. But. if snow last longer then they bloom later. We'll keep you updated. Click on the picture below to see pictures.
